'Imbolc' falls halfway between Yule (Winter Solstice) and Ostara (Spring Equinox) in the Pagan Wheel of the Year.

Spring is in the air, the clouds start to clear and farmers and gardeners start preparing the ground for planting. Arable farming has been part of life around the South Downs for hundreds of years and the way the landscape looks and functions continues to change year on year.

The surface pattern technique used to create these pieces allows colour and light to transmit through the vessel, evoking the turn of the Wheel.

Approx. dimensions: 11.5cm W x 7cm H

Technical notes: Sheet and powder glass. Three firings. Dropped through a handmade aperture. Coldworked by hand.

All pieces include a dedicated box with protective packaging. Each box holds a card with care instructions on the reverse. Handwash in warm soapy water (not dishwasher safe) or dust with a soft cloth.  This piece is not food safe and is not designed for that purpose.
