Green fig beetles are known for their unique way of moving as larvae. The larvae, often called "crawly backs," have a distinctive way of getting around. Instead of using their small legs, they roll onto their backs and use the stiff hairs on their backs to propel themselves forward. This unusual movement helps them navigate through decaying organic matter, which is their primary food source
